1.  Backup Information

It is recommended that you back up configuration information prior to hotfix
installation. This provides protection in case of system failure and makes it
possible to revert to a previous configuration if needed.

Follow the steps outlined in the following document to perform a backup based
on your installation platform:

SMBAdmin script wrongly creates the Load balancer AES keytabs

Now, the problem is resolved.

3.  Installation & Configuration

 This hotfix replaces the following files (assuming standard installation at
 /opt/WCG and /opt/websense):

    
    /opt/WCG/contrib/samba/SMBAdmin

Linux Server Installation

===============================================================================

For sites that have installed Content Gateway on a Linux server that is not an 
appliance, the instructions for patching are as follows.


    Copy Hotfix_Forcepoint_Web_Security_8.5.7_CG_505_linux.tar.gz to /root/
  
    Then, with root permission:
   
    1. #rm -fr /tmp/IB505/

    2. #mkdir /tmp/IB505/

    3. #cp /root/Hotfix_Forcepoint_Web_Security_8.5.7_CG_505_linux.tar.gz /tmp/IB505/

    4. #cd /tmp/IB505/

    5. #tar xvzf Hotfix_Forcepoint_Web_Security_8.5.7_CG_505_linux.tar.gz

    6. #./install_IB505.sh


If you later need to uninstall this Hotfix for any reason:

Appliance - Installation

Installation with rpm package (quick install)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To retrieve hotfix files for appliances, download the hotfix file 
directly from the download server to each appliance.
     

To install the hotfix:

1.  In the CLI, enter the config context (admin password required):
   
    config

2.  Locate and then download the hotfix rpm package:

    load hotfix --id Proxy-8.5.7-505

    install hotfix --id Proxy-8.5.7-505
	


If you later need to uninstall this hotfix for any reason:

1.  In the CLI, enter the config context (admin password required):
   
    config

2.  To uninstall the hotfix:

    uninstall hotfix --id Proxy-8.5.7-505

    OR

    run "uninstall hotfix" and then select the hotfix ID from the list.
